Hello!

I graduated from Decatur High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and then ventured north to James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I was passionate about meeting new people and engaging in campus activities. At James Madison University, I initiated a running club called Healthy Celebrations, which unites student runners, fostering a sense of community and support among participants. As a member of the Phi Mu sorority, I have taken on the role of house manager for the academic year 2023-24, overseeing our sorority house operations and contributing to a supportive living and learning environment. My involvement extends to the Honor Committee at Phi Mu, where I am committed to upholding the standards of integrity within the sorority.

In my design courses at JMU, I've engaged in diverse projects utilizing tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Wix, and WordPress. In my UX design class, I developed an app aimed at enhancing the registration process for group exercise classes at our university gym. Additionally, in my Advertising class, I collaborated on a blog project focusing on influencers with disabilities. Parallel to my academic and extracurricular endeavors, I work as a barista at 7 Brew, a popular coffee shop in Harrisonburg, VA. This role has honed my customer service skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings, further enriching my ability to manage and execute multiple responsibilities simultaneously. This summer, I am excited to embark on a new journey with The Lola, a women's workspace dedicated to fostering professional growth and collaboration. As a digital marketing intern, I look forward to leveraging my skills in digital media to enhance their online presence. I will be curating and managing their content, which aligns with my career aspirations in digital media management.
